These benefits make students really need social media. However, it is feared that the increase in students' need for social media will trigger the emergence of social media addiction in students. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between loneliness, social anxiety, and social media addiction in college students. This research is a quantitative study using convinience sampling technique. The number of respondents in this study were 111 students. The measuring instrument used in this study is a modified measuring instrument which includes a scale of loneliness, social anxiety, and social media addiction. Data analysis techniques for major hypotheses using multiple regression and to test minor hypotheses using Pearson product moment. Based on the results of data analysis using multiple regression analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05), this means that there is a relationship between loneliness, social anxiety, and social media addiction simultaneously in college students. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination and effective contribution, it can be seen that the effective contribution of loneliness, social anxiety is 43.5%, the contribution of loneliness is 11.26%, and social anxiety is 32.21%. Based on the results of the minor hypothesis test analysis using Pearson product moment, it shows a correlation value of 0.552 and a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05), this means that there is a positive relationship between loneliness and social media addiction with a moderate correlation level. Then the results of the second minor hypothesis analysis show a correlation value of 0.643 and a significance of 0.000 (p<0.05), this means that there is a positive relationship between loneliness and social media addiction with a strong correlation level. These results are expected to encourage interventions to reduce social media addiction in college students. %Z Pembimbing: Sara Palila, S.Psi., M.A., Psi
