Religious moderation as one of the National Medium-Term Development Plans (RPJMN 2020-2024) needs to be implemented optimally. One of the implementations of this plan can be carried out in the field of education through religious literacy so that it can help students actualize the values of religious moderation in everyday life. The problem in this study is how is religious literacy in schools, how is the implementation and actualization of religious moderation values, and what are the factors that support and hinder the implementation and actualization of religious moderation values through religious literacy. This research aims to describe and critically analyze the implementation and actualization of religious moderation values through religious literacy and the constraints encountered. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological-sociological approach. The author takes the background of SMA Negeri 3 Yogyakarta which is a school with multicultural characteristics. Religious moderation is very suitable to be applied in an environment that has a diversity of ethnicities, races, traditions, cultures, languages, and religions. Data collection is done by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by organizing the data and giving meaning to the data that was collected, then conclusions were drawn from these meanings. Checking the validity of the data is carried out by conducting triangulation through checking data from various sources in various ways and at different times. The results of this research showed: (1) Religious literacy at SMA Negeri 3 Yogyakarta includes basic literacy, library literacy, media literacy, visual literacy, technological literacy, and cultural literacy. (2) The actualization of religious moderation values through religious literacy at SMA Negeri 3 Yogyakarta is carried out in learning activities, religious activities, library activities, the use of media and technology, and cultural activities. The actualized values of religious moderation are tawassuth, tawazun, i'tidal, tasammuh, musawah, shura, islah, aulawiyah, tathawur wa ibtikar, and tahaddhur. (3) Factors that influence the actualization of religious moderation values through religious literacy at SMA Negeri 3 Yogyakarta are students, teachers, family, environment, and school facilities.} }
