Khamim Zarkasih Putro, M.Si. abstract: This research was motivated by a lack of interesting media during learning activities to introduce local culture to children. This makes students do not know at all the local culture that is around them. Based on these problems, the researchers developed media in the form of Video Animation Pop-up Books Based on Local Culture of South Sumatra in order to Increase Children's Love for Local Culture. This research aims to provide learning media that can be used in the long term as teaching materials. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) research method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Type of research method one-group pretest posttest experimental method design with paired sample test-t. This type of research uses the Mix Method, a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. The research subjects were 11 students in group B KB Sebiduk Sehaluan Rinjani (small-scale trial) and 15 group B students in TK Ar-Rahmah (large-scale trial) Ogan Komering Ulu Timur. Data collection techniques consist of observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis technique Paired Sample Test-T with the help of BIM SPSS version 22 calculations. The results of this study indicate that a product has been produced in the form of Media Video Animation Pop-Up Books Based on Local Culture of South Sumatra for group B students aged 5-6 years. In addition, the acquisition of material expert validation product feasibility averaged 92.73%, and Media Validation 94.28%. While the assessment of the teacher's response at Kb SS Rinjani obtained 90%, while at Ar-Rahmah Kindergarten it received 86%. Assessment of the response of the student response checklist at the SS Rinjani KB to the media obtained a score of 85.45% and at Ar-Rahmah Kindergarten obtained a score of 84%. So it can be concluded that the Pop-up book animated video media is feasible to use.
