The research in this thesis was carried out at the MAN 2 Samarinda Religious Program. The research objectives are; 1) Describe the background of the MAN 2 Samarinda Religious Program implementing the Boarding School program, 2) Describe the implementation of Boarding School management to improve the quality of graduates in the MAN 2 Samarinda Religious Program, 3) Describe the Boarding School's superior program in improving the quality of MAN 2 Samarinda Religious Program graduates, 4) Describe the Boarding School's contribution to improving the quality of MAN 2 Samarinda Religious Program graduates. The research that researchers will carry out is field research. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach which emphasizes aspects of in-depth understanding. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that; First, the background to MAN 2 Samarinda implementing religious programs, namely the Ministry of Religion's desire to revitalize religious programs again, apart from this, MAN 2 Samarinda's infrastructure facilities are considered sufficient to carry out religious programs. Second, the boarding school management process in improving the quality of MAPK student graduates has gone well, this can be seen from the planning process for MAPK students when they enter the assessment stage when they are active. Third, the existence of programs such as the obligation to memorize 6 juz for 3 years, strengthening foreign languages (Arabic and English), religious activities such as ta'lim, yellow book study plus in-depth study of nahwu shorof material and other religious knowledge indicates that this program is not only limited to printing cadres/graduates who only understand religious knowledge but there is another added value for graduates to master other knowledge through strengthening foreign languages. Fourth, the existence of a boarding school helps MAPK in carrying out all activities. Apart from this, communication access for students can also be achieved easily. For students, the existence of a dormitory or boarding school is very helpful for those who have difficulties in studying because having a dormitory indirectly makes it easier for them to discuss things with other students, whether academic or non-academic. %Z Pembimbing: Dr. H.
