The study focuses on the ergonomic behaviors exhibited by the students during the Qur'an memorization process. This study aims to better understand how factors such as environment, room comfort, body position, lighting, physical health, and mental well-being affect the ergonomic behavior of students in memorizing the Qur'an. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results showed that the students of Madrasah Darul Furqon understood the importance of creating a conducive and comfortable environment for Qur'anic learning. They also integrate an understanding of correct body position and movement as well as appropriate lighting in the memorization process. In addition, physical health and mental wellbeing factors were also found to play an important role in their ergonomic behavior. The results of this study can provide valuable insights for educators and other Islamic educational institutions who want to improve learning to memorize the Qur'an with an embodiment approach.
