Law Number 33 of 2014 concerning Halal certification. Tourism Minister Regulation Number 18 of 2016 regulates tourism management. Tourism Minister Regulation Number 4 of 2019 emphasizes tourism promotion. Minister of Tourism Regulation Number 18 of 2021 focuses on the implementation of health protocols in tourism. Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2016 regulates the management of halal tourist destinations in NTB Province. Regional Regulation Number 10 of 2021 focuses on tourism promotion at the NTB regional level. Meanwhile, Fatwa DSN-MUI Number 08/Dsn.Mui/X/2016 provides guidance and sharia principles in tourism for tourism industry players. From the above regulations, it is necessary to observe the law that applies specifically in the implementation of halal tourism. Covering the extent of the implementation of halal tourism law on Lombok Island, what is the role of law in the implementation of halal tourism on Lombok Island, and what are the factors that influence the implementation of halal tourism law on Lombok Island. So that in its implementation in accordance with the principles of halal tourism that can have a positive impact on the people of Lombok. This type of research is field research with a legal sociology research approach, and uses Suerjono Sukanto's theory of legal effectiveness. this research is analyzed juridically quantitatively and qualitatively, deductive thinking method (general-specific). In the data collection method, the authors used the method of observation of tourism sites, interviews with the officialdom, tourism actors, tourists and the community, and documentation. There are a number of laws that support the implementation of halal tourism, including Law No. 10/2009 on Tourism, Law No. 33/2014 on Halal Product Guarantee, Minister of Tourism Regulations, and local level regulations such as Regional Regulations No. 2/2016 and No. 10-2021. The purpose of these laws is to create an atmosphere that is in accordance with the principles of sharia law, improve the welfare of local communities, and build a tourism industry that is friendly to Muslim visitors with the availability of places of worship (musholah) in every tourist attraction and destination. Although there is a fairly strong legal framework, there are still challenges such as the lack of clear supervision, uncertainty regarding the length of validity of halal certification, and the need for separation of halal tourism law from general tourism law. The role of law in the implementation of halal tourism in Indonesia emphasizes the importance of supporting infrastructure, including places of worship, halal restaurants, and accessible transportation. Halal tourism objects must pay attention to religious aspects, cleanliness, and comfort of Muslim visitors as well as respecting socio-cultural values and local wisdom.
