The purpose of this study is to identify and examine macroeconomic factors that may have an impact on foreign investment into nine ASEAN nations. Inflation, export value, exchange rate, and trade openness are the elements that are examined. Panel data covering the years 2010?2020 in nine ASEAN nations was then employed in the study. The research's appropriate regression results are obtained using the Fixed Effect Model regression method, and these results demonstrate that, although the export and trade openness variables have a positive and significant impact on foreign investment, the inflation and exchange rate variables have no discernible effect on foreign investment.
