By using social media, users can easily communicate, interact, learn, network, and engage in various other activities. Promotional activities are also widespread on social media. Some widely used social media platforms include YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. This research examines the use of Instagram as a tourism promotion medium in Pangandaran Regency, particularly focusing on tourism promotion carried out by the @Pangandaranview account. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research method. The theoretical framework used in this research includes the promotion mix theory, such as public relations, sales promotion, advertising, and personal selling. The findings indicate that the @Pangandaranview account effectively utilizes Instagram as a promotional medium, utilizing all available features. In each feature, at least two promotion mix theories are applied. The features used by @Pangandaranview for promotion include follower feature, photo/video uploads, geotagging, hashtags, likes, comments, captions, and reels.
