%A NIM.: 21204032018 Lintang Febyarum %O Pembimbing: Dr. Winarti, M.Pd.,Si %T EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS EKSPERIMEN SAINS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI PADA ANAK USIA DINI %X The aim of this research is to understand: (1) the effectiveness of science experiment-based learning on children's critical thinking skills, (2) the effectiveness of science experiment-based learning on children's communication skills, (3) how effective science experiment-based learning is on critical thinking skills and communication skills in children. This research uses a quantitative approach with quasi-experimental methods(quasi experimental design). The research process was carried out using observation or observations in 2 learning groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. This research was conducted at the PAUD IT ADAR Kalasan school. The research sample used was 40 children with age criteria of 4-6 years, where the experimental group was 20 children and the control group was 20 children, determined based on techniques.random sampling. Data collection techniques use observation to determine critical thinking and communication skills in children. Data analysis technique using descriptive analysis. The research results show that the research hypothesis Ha accepted and HOrejected. Concluded (1) learning based on science experiments (X), has a significant effect on children's critical thinking abilities (Y1) with t-test posttest experimental group with level (sig 2tailed 0.000 < 0.05). (2) learning based on science experiments (X), has a significant effect on children's communication skills (Y2) with a t-test of 28.475 with a level of (sig 2tailed 0.000 < 0.05).
