With such rapid development, humans must be able to adapt both in the academic environment and the family environment, because this cannot be separated from the conflicts they will face. Conflicts that occur in interpersonal relationships are manifested by differences in goals and interference in fulfilling each other's goals. A teenager's lack of emotional connection and a frustrated attitude are caused by the weakening of interpersonal relationships between parents and children. Low interpersonal relationships between children and parents indicate a lack of attention and passive communication from parents. This thesis aims to explain the process of implementing guidance and counseling services by guidance and counseling teachers in helping students who have interpersonal relationship problems with their parents. To explain the final results of the counseling process carried out by the guidance and counseling teacher. To explain the dynamics experienced by students in improving interpersonal relationships with parents. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews, documentation and data triangulation. Data analysis in this research went through several stages, first data reduction, second data presentation, and third drawing conclusions (data verification). The results of this research are the application of guidance and counseling by guidance and counseling teachers to help students overcome interpersonal relationship problems with parents and operate effectively. The results of the guidance and counseling process show that there are several deficiencies that need to be addressed by guidance and counseling teachers and students, including the use of techniques and evaluation by students of perceived problems such as habits at home, student openness, involvement in the family, negative behaviors, resolution problems, controlling emotions, and controlling conflict. The dynamics that occur in the interpersonal relationship problems between the two students and their parents are that they experience various kinds of symptoms, but all of them can be controlled by remaining open, managing emotions, and consulting other people. %Z Pembimbing: Prof. Dr. Nurjannah, M.Si
