This research depicts the phenomenon of prolonged conflict which is motivated by tensions between the Muslim community and those who support the establishment of the Vihara until the two reconcile with each other. This discourse aims to find out what the Muslim community's conflict resolution model is regarding the establishment of the Padepokan Dhammaloka Amara Vihara in Merden Village, Purwanegara District, Banjarnegara Regency. This research uses qualitative research methods with a sociological approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data display, data reduction, and data analysis using Gary T. Furlong's theory with one of the conflict resolution models, namely the conflict circle. This conflict circle model contains six elements including values, relationships, external or mood, structure, data. Then one more element is interest as a mutual agreement. The results of this research are: First, the response of the Muslim community to the establishment of the Padepokan Dhammaloka Amara Vihara, including showing acceptance and conversely, several individuals felt anxious about the impact of the existence of the Vihara. Second, the structural criticism of the harmonious conflict resolution model by Gary T. Furlong in diagnosing conflict through the circle conflict resolution model is an effective approach. Lingkar Rindu as a critique of the structure of the conflict resolution model in Merden Village. Third, the relationship between Muslim communities and Buddhist communities has a new awareness of maintaining harmony with each other.
