Back grounded by curiosity of the\r\nproblem that public relations Telkom role isn’t running by public relations division\r\nbut another division, it because Telkom don’t have public relations division who\r\nhandle communications activity. Although, there is nothing public relations division\r\nbut communications activity is still run. In this case, public relations role running by\r\nconsumer service division who handle broadband learning centre as corporate social\r\nresponsibility.\r\nAccording to that case, so there is a question: how implementation public\r\nrelations role at consumer service division of Telkom Yogyakarta in running to\r\nbroadband learning centre as corporate social responsibility’s program? For answer\r\nthat quastions, this research is needed, because this isn’t just a research and not just a\r\nconcept but it’s about public relations reality.\r\nThis research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive tipe. The subject\r\nof this research is consumer service division of Telkom Yogyakarya. While the object\r\nof this research is implementation of public relations role at consumer service\r\ndivision of Telkom Yogyakarta in running broadband learning centre as corporate\r\nsocial responsibility program. Informan research selected by snowball sampling. Data\r\ncollected trough two method is primer data and sekunder data. Primer data collected\r\ntrough in depth interviews and observations. Sekunder data collected trough\r\ncompany profile Telkom, book study, and files record. Methods of data analysis\r\nusing reduksi data, display data, and verifications data. Check the accuraty of the data\r\nusing triangulation method.\r\nResults of this research show that consumer service Telkom Yogyakarta is\r\nrunning public relations role as communications technician role (according to concept\r\nof David M Dozier). Corporate social responsibility Telkom is philanthropic\r\nresponsibility accordance with corporate social responsibility pyramide concept by\r\nCarrol. According to obstructionist strategi by Schermerhorn, Corporate social\r\nresponsibility Telkom accordace with proactive strategy.
