abstract: Human Resource Management planning, pengorganisasiain, direction, and
control of procurement, development, compensation, integration, pemeliaraan,
and dismissal of employees, with the intention of the realization of corporate
goals, individuals, employees, and society.
Management of human resources at the Library of Industrial Development
Authority Batam Island aims to empower human beings who have special
potential in the field of libraries. This management is important to remember that
there are human resources in this library does not have an educational background
in Library Science.
Library is a collection of writings managing institutions, print works, and /
or recorded works professionally with a standard system to meet the needs of
education, research, conservation, information, and recreation of the pemustaka
(Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 43 year 2007 about the Library, 2007:2).
Information includes products of human intellectual and artistic. In carrying out
those activities necessary knowledge acquired through formal or non-formal
education in the field of libraries, documentation, and information.
Library as an institution that is always evolving (the library is the growing
organism) requires planning in management, including information materials,
human resources, finance, buildings / spaces, systems and equipment. Without
adequate planning, it is not clear objectives to be achieved, the overlapping of
execution, and the slow development of the library.
