abstract: Growth of Information System very quickly along with the increasing of
growth of human being intellegence. In growth required in a Geographical
Information System is data and information. Because of vital importance nya the
geographical information to a area, more than anything else in the form of
information of object of wisata specially information of countryside of wisata
residing in Sub-Province Sleman. This is used to introduce to society of about
potency of countryside Wisata.
This research aim to develop application which can inform a place, in this
case is the location map of tourism countryside is residing in Sleman Sub-province so
quickly and accurate. Research method applied is system development method. This
application is exploits MySQL database as Server database, PHP is applied as
programming language, and implementation in the form of web.
Geographical Information System Tourism Countryside has amenity for
tourist to obtain information about tourism countryside, and is equipped with facility
calculation intercity distance. The result of examination this system shows good value
counted 64,25 % from all responders.
