The cause of global warming is the increase in greenhouse gases (GHG), the dominant environmental conditions are affected due to the increase in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. ASEAN is the second largest contributor to carbon dioxide emissions in Asia with a total of 52,163.35 million metric tons of carbon according to (WorldBankClimate, 2020), this is as a result of increased carbon emissions provided by humans to the environment. In this context, this study aims to analyze the effect of Economic Growth, Renewable Energy Consumption, Population Growth and Government Quality on Carbon Emissions (CO2) with a case study of Indonesia and Singapore using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method. The object of this research is ASEAN countries that meet the sample criteria in 1990-2022. The results showed that the effect of Economic Growth has a negative and significant effect in Indonesia, and a positive and significant effect in Singapore in the long and short term. Renewable Energy Consumption variable has a negative and significant effect on Indonesia in the long and short term, while in Singapore it has a negative effect in the short term. Population Growth has no significant effect on both countries in the long term and has a negative effect in the short term on Carbon Emissions (CO2) in Indonesia and Singapore. %Z Pembimbing: Anggari Marya Kresnowati, SE., ME.
