The problems faced by students do not rule out the possibility of bringing up various psychological problems such as stress and depression, where Riskesdas data (2018) as many as 12 million Indonesians over the age of 15 suffer from depression. Not infrequently in some academic situations it can make students feel down, depressed, restless, tired or feel like a failure which ultimately results in them criticizing themselves, focusing too much on the failures experienced so that they start to behave badly towards themselves. This research aims to determine the relationship between family support and attachment with self-compassion in college students. The subjects in this study amounted to 116 students studying in Yogyakarta with sampling using nonprobability sampling technique which is more precisely convenience sampling. There are three scales used in this study, namely the self-compassion scale, family support scale and attachment scale. Multiple linear regression analysis is the data analysis used in this study. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant relationship between family support and attachment with self-compassion. The results of the t test analysis show that attachment has a significant positive relationship with the dependent variable of self-compassion. While the family support variable does not have a positive relationship with the dependent variable of self-compassion. The effective contribution to the self-compassion variable is 40.1% with the contribution of attachment to self-compassion is 39.9%. %Z Pembimbing: Zidni Immawan Muslimin, S.Psi, M.Si
