Women are often accused of not being able to do work outside the home and only have roles that are no more than housework. In the world of work, many strategic positions are closed to women. Low employment, education and the absence of skills possessed by women impact the tightness of competition in finding work causing uneducated or poorly educated women to choose to work as pelvic laborers. This study aims to study the inequities that women in the market sector receive and to obtain an overview of the problems of women who work as pelvic laborers. The subject of this study was a female pelvic labor worker in Pasar Desa Ngalang, Gedangsari District, Gunungkidul Regency. With a qualitative descriptive approach, data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, as well as documentation. As for analysis techniques and data validity with data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing or verification. The study used Pierre Bourdieu's Habitus, Capital and Arena theories as an analysis. The results of this study show that there is an injustice felt by women pelvic workers in Ngalang market, this can be seen where there are differences in the acceptance of women both in terms of the system where there is a difference in acceptance of female pelvic workers and male pelvic workers due to their lack of trust in female pelvic labor candidates, female pelvic labor is perceived as an obstacle to work, the perception that women complain a lot and interfere with work, in addition, there is also injustice perceived by women such as the unequal workload between women of the pelvic labor group, the difference in remuneration in the group between female pelvic workers and the presence of verbal violence received by women in the labor arena. %Z Pembimbing: Dr. Napsiah, S.Sos., M.Si.
