description: This research is motivated by the initial findings of researchers that there are  different words but one meaning in the story of women. These two words were then  traced to 18 female figures mentioned in the Quran. This study aims to reveal the  stile of the discourse-forming elements of the image of women in the story of the  Quran, the style of presentation in each story as well as the style of dialogue and  repetition of the story. The theory used is the combined stylistic theory of Gorys  Keraf and Syihabuddin Qalyubi. The data collection technique used is the technique  of reading and noting. Data analysis begins with understanding the words lexically  and grammatically in women's stories, then various kinds of linguistic variations  will appear, such as the typical words used in women's stories, sentence structures  used and others. The results of this study indicate that the image of women in the  story of the Quran experiences various linguistic phenomena both from lexical,  grammatical as well as rhetorical and figurative styles. There are also words that  are typical of women's stories. From the imaged side, there are twelve images of  women, namely a woman who repents from mistakes, betrays her husband, gets the  good news of having children, is patient in obedience, surrenders to Allah, is clever  in managing problems, admits her mistakes, commits with her promises, gives  happiness to others, relying on diplomatic relations, seeking justice and a wife who  helps her husband in disobedience. From a number of these images, it turns out that  each character has similarities and also differences. In terms of storytelling, each  woman's story has its own characteristics based on what is in the text of the Quran,  namely, there is a story style that begins with a conclusion, such as the story of  Asiyah bint Muzahim, the story begins with a climax, such as the story of Sarah,  the style begins without an introduction, such as the story Hanah and the story are  arranged like drama scenes, namely the story of Zulaikha and Balqis. There is also  repetition of stories in women's stories but the repetition that occurs is  complementary to the story or there are similarities but uses a different sentence  structure.
