description: This focus research about the da'wah movement carried out by Pengurus Wilayah Persaudaraan Muslimin Indonesia (PW Parmusi) of South Sumatera. "Madanni Village" is a national program Parmusi which is proposed as a da'wah movement which contains religiosity, independence, social sensitivity, and educational values to build civil society. This study aims to explain several issues, namely explaining the history of Parmusi in South Sumatra and the da'wah strategy carried out by Parmusi South Sumatra, as well as explaining the motives of the da'wah movement in Teluk Payo Village. This study uses historical methods and uses a sociology approach. The historical method is used as an instrument in data collection while the structural sociology approach is used to describe the problem.In this study, researchers used the views of David Jary and Julia Jary about social movements which have three concepts. The first is the actor, the second is the strategy, the third is the goals that are jointly managed to achieve the expected target as an organizational activity.The results of this study are that the da'wah movement is one of the keys in building the South Sumatra Parmusi movement. The strategy for the South Sumatra Parmusi missionary movement in Teluk Payo Village involves religious leaders in Teluk Payo Village as Parmusi cadres to build civil society. The implementing committee acts as a driving force for activities in the fields of religious, social, economic and formal education. The implementing dai was chosen by Parmusi South Sumatra for the purpose of political da'wah in order to produce democratic and religious leaders at the village level.
