This type of research uses field research which requires researchres to go directly to find out leadership strategies in improving the quality of education. Data collection techniques through observasion, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were principals, deputy principals, curiculum departments, education quality teams, teachers nd administrative staff. The aim of this research is to find out the strategies carried out by madrasah heads in improving the quality of education. Data us analyzed by reducing, displaying, drawing conclusions from the data. The results of this research show: In improving the quality of education at the Mathali’ul Falah madrasah, the head of the madrasa has steps: 1. Strategic to improve the quality of education in terms of input, process and output aspects. (a). Input, prepere everything needed for the continuity of the process. One of them is by preparing to accept new students. (b) Proses, develop active, innovative and fun learning, and train the discipline of teachers and students. (c) Output, improve the academic and non-academic achievements of madrasah as optimally as possible, and building a more effective and organized alumni network. 2. Obstacles and solutions faced by madrasah Mathali’ul Falah heads in improving the quality of education (a). Low motivation of students, this results in students not being motivated to learn. Efforts that can be made to address this problem are to develop learning to be creative and not monotonous. (b). The number of educators in the field of general knowladge is still relatively smaal and does not meet needs.
