For young children, the use of loose parts media can be a creative and effective means of learning at RA Nurul Dzikri Sleman Yogyakarta. To increase the creativity of children aged 5-6 years. This research aims to analyze teachers' efforts to increase children's creativity and determine the purpose of using loose parts media to increase the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at RA Nurul Dzikri Sleman Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, to describe and explain concretely the phenomena that occur in the field, accompanied by explanations using a series of words and sentences. This research was taken from data from research on children aged 5-6 years at RA Nurul Dzikri Sleman Yogyakarta, totaling 16 children. This research uses data collection methods which are carried out through classroom observations. Interview techniques were carried out with the school principal, homeroom teacher, and accompanying teachers. Documentation techniques using data display, data verification. The data analysis technique is carried out by drawing conclusions. The data validity test uses source triangulation, time triangulation and technical triangulation. On the other hand, the presentation of this research shows that (1) the teacher's efforts to develop children's creativity with the invitation of loose parts media, namely by creating an interesting learning environment through the presence of loose parts media, children are able to be creative with media freely, with the aim that children are interested in exploring and creativity, providing space for freedom in work and providing motivational stimulation, building children's self-confidence, and building children's curiosity. (2) Why does RA Nurul Dzikri use loose media to develop students' creativity? The implementation of the independent curriculum encourages creative innovative learning with loose parts media for students and loose parts media at RA Nurul Dzikri can improve sensory motor skills in students aged 5-6 years at the pre-operational stage.
