When connected to a marriage, sekufu can be interpreted as a balance between the prospective husband and prospective wife in terms of position, descent, religion and others. The concept of sekufu is an important thing and needs to be considered before carrying out a marriage. In the hadith explained by the Prophet as narrated by Bukhari, that if a man wants to marry a woman, there are usually four things that are taken into account, namely: her wealth, her rank (her lineage), her beauty, and her religion. However, the Prophet SAW really emphasized the religious factor to be taken into consideration in choosing a partner. In terms of marriage, R{\=a}bi{\d t}ah 'Alawiyah emphasized how important sekufu is in marriage in order to maintain the lineage. The problem in this research is how the existence of a joint marriage between R{\=a}bi{\d t}ah 'Alawiyah D.I Yogyakarta and why joint marriages are maintained by R{\=a}bi{\d t}ah 'Alawiyah D.I Yogyakarta. The research method used in this thesis is qualitative, descriptive-analytical in nature. The approach used by sociologists of Islamic law uses Talcott Parsons AGIL functional structural theory and Jasser Auda ma{\d s}lahah theory to analyze the joint marriage of R{\=a}bi{\d t}ah 'Alawiyah D.I Yogyakarta. The results of research on the secondary marriage of R{\=a}bi{\d t}ah 'Alawiyah D.I Yogyakarta, functional structural analysis and ma{\d s}lahah are as follows: The secondary marriage of R{\=a}bi{\d t}ah 'Alawiyah D.I Yogyakarta based on Talcott Parsons' AGIL analysis will continue to exist. This is because the four functions of the AGIL Talcott Parsons social system are implemented in the concept of sekufu marriage R{\=a}bi{\d t}ah 'Alawiyah D.I Yogyakarta. A system that functions according to its function will achieve its goals, in this way the sekufu marriage of R{\=a}bi{\d t}ah 'Alawiyah D.I Yogyakarta will continue to exist and will not be damaged or lost. The factors that R{\=a}bi{\d t}ah 'Alawiyah D.I Yogyakarta's sekufu marriage can survive based on Jasser Auda's ma{\d s}lahah analysis are due to four factors. First, defend Nasab. Both culture and tradition. Third is the influence of family and community. Fourth is education.
