The research method used is quasi-experimental with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design model. The population in this study was class XI IPS MAN 2 Ciamis, totaling 143 students. The samples taken for this research were 20 students with 10 students in the control group and 10 students in the experimental group. The research instrument used to collect data was the self-efficacy scale. The data analysis technique used is parametric statistics through an independent sample t test with the help of the IBM SPSS version 25 program. The results of the independent sample t test calculation show Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000. (p {\ensuremath{<}} 0.05). Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in the pretest (20.90) and posttest (42.50) scores in the experimental group, while there is no significant difference between the pretest (19.80) and posttest (23.30) in the control group students. These results show that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is effective in increasing self-efficacy in class XI IPS MAN 2 Ciamis students.} }
