However, despite the various benefits, many researchers believe that ChatGPT also has many significant disadvantages. The aim of this research is to investigate how the use of ChatGPT in the education sector is influenced by perceived threat, perceived ease of use, perceived utility, attitudes towards use, and behavioral intention to use the system. The population of this study were active students at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University, Yogyakarta. Simple random sampling, a probability sampling approach, was used to carry out the sampling procedure. Meanwhile, 377 respondents were obtained who were students from various faculties using a sampling table to determine the sample size in this research. Questionnaires were distributed to collect data for this research, which was then analyzed using SEM-PLS using SmartPLS 3 software. Research findings prove that perceived threat and perceived ease of use influence perceived usefulness, attitudes towards adopting ChatGPT in educational environments are influenced by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. use which ultimately influences students' interest in continuing to use it.
