Attachment that is formed early on will become the main foundation for the growth and development of children in the future. One aspect of development that is influenced by this attachment is social-emotional development, especially self-confidence. With a sense of trust in the child will make the child have an independent attitude, responsibility, tolerance and creativity. This study aims to determine how children's attachment in the age range of 4-5 years with their mothers in Darma Village, Kuningan Regency can increase their self-confidence. This research uses a correlational quantitative research method with simple linear regression analysis. The two variables studied were attachment (variable X) and children's self-confidence (variable Y). The targets in this study were parents who had children aged 4-5 years in Darma Village, Kuningan Regency. Data collection conducted by researchers is by using Google Form to distribute questionnaires to respondents. The questionnaire contains a scale to measure attachment and self-confidence which is then analyzed using SPSS for windows version 25 software. This research in Darma Village, Kuningan Regency shows that attachment has a positive and significant effect on the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years. This is evidenced by the acquisition of simple linear regression analysis results which show a t-count test value of 2.885 which is greater than the t table of 2.048 and a significance value of 0.007 also shows results that are smaller than 0.05. Then the test results of the coefficient of determination of the contribution of attachment to children's self-confidence only amounted to 22.9\%. This shows that attachment is not the only factor that affects children's self-confidence. There are 77.1\% other factors that are more dominant in influencing the child's self-confidence.} }
