Wasith Achadi, S.Ag, M.Ag %T IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA BELAJAR DALAM PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM UNTUK MEMBENTUK AKHLAKUL KARIMAH DI SMP MUHAMMADIYAH PIYUNGAN %X The lack of akhlakul karimah education in schools occurs due to the adjustment of the times in students, so schools must have solutions in providing learning based on akhlakul karimah through curriculum policies. This study aims to explain the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMP Muhammadiyah Piyungan so that it can create akhlakul karimah in students through the world of education based on the Independent Curriculum. This study also explains the limitations of problems such as implementation, strategy and impact into the formulation in this study. To answer from the formulation of the problem above, researchers use research methodology. This research uses qualitative methods with the type of field research, because this research uses data from the field directly. Data collection is carried out by direct observation conducted by researchers, interviews conducted by researchers on principals, teaching staff and students who can provide data information to researchers. Documentation is carried out by documenting teaching and learning activities in the classroom, school structure, school buildings to the curriculum system used. Data analysis techniques are carried out by reducing data, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study show that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMP Muhammadiyah Piyungan uses several forms of approaches such as: Increasing student involvement, this is done so that students can understand and apply the Independent Curriculum in everyday life. This application uses strategies such as providing a deep understanding of teachers in order to apply them during the teaching and learning process. The development of creativity and innovation, the development of soft skills, the development of student independence and continuous monitoring and evaluation are strategies applied at SMP Muhammadiyah Piyungan. The implementation of this curriculum has an impact such as having an impact on the effectiveness of learning in the classroom and in the community. So that this application creates an impact such as increasing religious values in students at SMP Muhammadiyah Piyungan, this can foster an interactive attitude so that it can strengthen character based on akhlakul karimah by means of self-development of students at SMP Muhammadiyah Piyungan as the purpose of implementing the merderka curriculum in the world of education %K Kurikulum Merdeka, Akhlakul Karimah, Budaya Religius %D 2024 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib65608
