This research aims to develop, validate and apply FTIR spectroscopy with a chemometric approach for multicomponent analysis of C-Organic and N-Total levels. This research uses a model Partial Least Square (PLS) to see the quantitative relationship between multicomponent data from the FTIR spectrum and known levels of C-Organic and N-Total. The analytical method was validated with test samples to obtain good normal spectrum data. The results of this research show that predictive models can be an alternative multicomponent analysis method in determining C-Organic and N-Total levels in peat soil.The results of the validation of the analytical method obtained in this study were the results of the accuracy test (%recovery) for C-Organic and N-Total 109% and 102% respectively. Meanwhile, the precision test (%RSD) for C-Organic and N-Total is 0.986% and 4.584%. The results obtained meet the requirements as a good model.
