Arjuna Petrogas Indonesia is a service company which operates in the field of providing drilling equipment and repairing drilling wells located in Riau province. Work accidents on drilling work can occur at any time unexpectedly. The aim of this research is to minimize work accidents by using the HIRARC method. The research was carried out by identifying sources of danger in the drilling job on Rig 1, then carrying out a risk assessment to determine appropriate controls. In the drilling job section there are 3 types of work, namely the process of preparing for drilling, making rat holes, and making mouse holes with a total of 22 sources of danger for all drilling job work. Drilling jobs have a high average risk that can endanger workers and cause significant financial losses. From the potential dangers and risks, there were 3 potential mild risks (14%), 7 potential moderate risks (32%), 8 potential high risks (36%), and 4 potential extreme risks (18%). The highest risk is muscle injury, Lost Time Injury (LTI), up to death with a score of 10, then there are other risks such as minor injuries, being pinched, equipment damage, being hit by binding slings and kelly.
