%X The dynamic development of the
times, now radio is not only a medium of mass communication but also an activity.
Therefore, radio stations must have their own ideals to attract their audiences. A
radio program has a range of listeners according to the program presented.
Listeners of radio programs will have perceptions and satisfaction formed in
themselves. This study examines the perceptions and satisfaction of listeners of the
radio program Tahsin Surat Pilihan Juz Amma Radio Muslim Jogja.
This research uses the theory of Melvin Defluer and Sandra Ball Roceach. This type
of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Where data is collected through
interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed through red uction,
presentation and conclusion techniques. The main subject of this research is the
listener of the tahsin program of juz Amma Radio Muslim Jogja, as a validation
step, the researcher involves Significant other, namely the announcer, Ustad, and
programmer. The participation of the main subject and supporting subjects is
expected to provide deeper insight and diversification of perspectives related to
listener perceptions and satisfaction levels.
