So a person must be provided with a strong Islamic education that is in harmony with Islamic religious law. This research aims to describe why Islamic education is implemented through the living Qur'an, analyzing the implications of implementing Islamic education through the living Qur'an at the Assalafiyyah Mlangi Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta. This research shows that students' learning to apply the Al-Qur'an in everyday life includes memorizing the Al-Qur'an, tasmi' Al-Qur'an, writing verses of the Al-Qur'an, tahfidhul Al-Qur'an , or reading the Koran. To understand the benefits of reading and studying the Qur'an, learn how to summarize the key ideas contained in the Qur'an and study the Ba'unal hadith of the Qur'an. Students are taught the principles of the Koran, including the need for prayer, fasting, hoharoh (purification), and other special values This research was carried out through qualitative methods using primary and secondary data. Primary data sources were obtained from teachers and several students at the Assalafiyyah Mlangi Islamic Boarding School. Secondary data sources were obtained from electronic media, books, as well as a number of research results in a number of reputable journals. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Testing the validity of the data is carried out through extended participation, persistence as well as resourcefulness and triangulation of sources. Data analysis techniques are carried out through data condensation, data presentation, and inductive conclusion drawing. The implementation of Islamic education through the living Qur'an at the Putri Assalafiyyah Mlangi Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta is divided into two paths. First, through the habit of reading, memorizing and studying the Qur'an, as well as applying Qur'anic values in everyday life. Second, the ustazah use various methods such as lectures, advice and stories to help students appreciate and internalize the teachings of the Koran in their lives. As a result, the students have strong character, increased morality, and a deep understanding of Islamic teachings, reflected in their discipline in studying and their good daily behavior.
