        abstract = {Child marriage is an issue of concern because of its very complex impact, both on health, education, economics and social. The number of child marriages in Bantul Regency from 2019 to 2022 continues to increase. One effort to reduce cases of child marriage is the establishment of the Projotamansari Family Learning Center (Puspaga). Puspaga Projotamansari was entrusted to take part in carrying out actions to prevent child marriage in Bantul Regency through counseling services. After one year of the founding of Puspaga Projotamansari, cases of child marriage in Bantul Regency. Departing from this reality, this research aims to analyze the role of Puspaga Projotamansari in efforts to suppress cases of child marriage in Bantul district through counseling services. The approach used to analyze this role is the maslahah concept.
This research is qualitative research with the type of research, namely field research which is descriptive analysis. The author uses a normative sociological approach, as well as deductive qualitative data analysis. The primary data source in this research was obtained from the interview process with the Puspaga Projotamansari counselor and the Head of the Protection and Fulfillment of Children's Rights Division of the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning (DP3APKB) Department of Bantul Regency. As well as supporting sources such as journals, books and other relevant scientific works.
Based on role theory analysis, Puspaga Projotamansari has a real role in reducing cases of child marriage in Bantul Regency. In the expected role aspect, the formation of the Puspaga Projotamansari institution is expected to eliminate cases of child marriage in Bantul Regency. In terms of the actual role played by Puspaga Projotamansari in suppressing cases of child marriage through counseling services, it can increase public awareness, provide education and emotional support to children and parents as well as develop prevention strategies. Based on the mashlahah concept, child marriage is a practice that has the potential to damage some of the five main objectives of syara' (maqashid sayri'ah), namely hifz al-nafs, hifz al-'aql, and hifz al-nasl.}
