N2  - This study aims to find out the differences and similarities of the two poems that you want to compare. Comparative studies, namely focusing on the study of the texts of literary works being compared, such as studies of influence and affinity. This study can take the form of an influence study or a similarity study. This study also includes studies on themes and genres. The analytical method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study show that the portraits of women in the two poems have different perspectives on women due to cultural influences. Nizar Qabbani describes women who have compassion, are tough, able to nurture and care for them patiently, patiently and are able to accompany a man in joy and sorrow. W.S. Rendra depicts women with a negative image, women are stereotyped as weak and helpless creatures, and use beauty to achieve goals. The similarity of the two poems is that they describe portraits of women in various aspects of life.
