        abstract = {This purpose of this research is to find out the role of Bumi Cendekia Junior High School library as a source of information in the era of information technology development. This research method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique used in this study used purposive sampling with primary data obtained through observation, interviews with sources and documentation. While data analysis is carried out through the process of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The informants in this study were 4 (four) people. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the role of the Bumi Cendekia Junior High School school library as an information source in the era of information technology is that the library has played a role in increasing information literacy, encouraging interest in reading, the library has provided a quiet study place for students and a self-development center. The library also strives to prepare digital collections that can be accessed by students and enrich programs that encourage student literacy. Schools should provide a special budget allocation for the library so that facilities and infrastructure such as computers to access technology can be fulfilled.}
