The research is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques including semi-structured in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. This research also refers to six principles within the ACRL standards: Professional Values, Educational Role, Discovery, Collection, Space, and Personnel. Researcher only focuses on components related to the research task's activity from these standards. Data's validity is ensured through Credibility test with increased diligence and triangulation, Dependability test through field note reporting, and Confirmability test with member checks. Data analysis methods used include data reduction, data display, and conclusion. This research findings indicate that out of a total of 21 components, 19 components demonstrate the suitability of UI library as a research library according to the standards used. The most ideal components are found in the educational role principle, followed by the most prominent components in the discovery principle. However, 2 components do not meet the standards, which are the absence of a makerspace and the suboptimal number of librarians at University of Indonesia library. Based on these results, the researcher recommends that the University of Indonesia library should integrate makerspace within the library and hire additional library staff.
