N2  - This study aimed to determine the perception of library users on the physical work environment of Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang Library. The physical work environment studied in this research includes tables, chairs, shelves, humidity, lighting, noise, mechanical vibration, temperature, and color. The type of research used in this study is descriptive quantitative. The sample used used in the study was library visitors of Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang as many as 98 respondents using accidental sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires distributed to visitors who come directly to the library. Data analysis used is the calculation of mean and grandmean values. From the research on library users? perceptions of the physical work environment of the Muhammadiyah Magelang University, it shows that so far the library users feel satisfied the physical work environment of the library. This is supported by the grandmean value of 2,74. The grandmean values is included in the value range of 2,50-3,24 which is included in the satisfied category. Thus, the results showed that the users satisfied the physical work environment of the library of Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang.
