The research method uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The sample technique uses purposive sampling. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the credibility of the data using triangulation and extending observations. The research results show that: a. Achievements of the GLS program at SMA N 1 Jetis. At the habituation stage, namely: (1) Read 15 minutes. (2) Running for more than 1 semester. (3) Has a reading journal. (4) The teacher participates in reading. (5) Library, reading corner with non-subject collections. (6) reading campaign posters. (7) Text-rich material. (8) clean & healthy life posters, (9) public involvement. (10) The principal supports GLS. At the development stage, namely: (1) Reading 15 minutes. (2) Oral/written responses. (3) Have a collection of reading journals. (4) the teacher participates in reading. (5) Oral/written bills for non-academic assessments. (6) Reading journal on display. (7) library, reading corner with non-lesson collections. (9) Reading campaign posters. (10) Academic activities that support literacy culture. (11) Celebration of certain days with the theme of literacy. (12) There is a Literacy Team. At the learning stage, namely: (1) 15 minute reading activity (non-academic/academic bills). (2) Reading strategy. (3) reading related textbooks (academic bills). (4) Oral/written responses (academic bills). (5) There is a strategy in understanding the text of the lesson. (6) Oral/written bills (academic assessment). (7) Social, affective environment accompanied by reading. (8) Reading campaign posters. (9) Show of work. (10) Libraries with fiction and non-fiction books. (11) School Literacy Team. (12) Networking external parties. b. The Ganesha Library at SMA N 1 Jetis has 15 activities to support GLS, including book rolling, book reviews, film reviews, mobile libraries, reading corner competitions, wall magazine competitions, singing together, geguritan competitions, bulletin making, poetry writing workshops, storytelling competitions and announcements best reader, writer meet and writing training, gashpod, movie watching, and option-fiction exhibition.
