%X Smartphone devices are often used in learning. However, these devices also lead to addiction, with students playing games more often. Banning the use of smartphones is not always effective. There is a criticism of PAI in schools is the overemphasis on memorization especially when it comes to learning history so the discovery learning model can be used as an alternative. Preliminary research at SMA Negeri 1 Kalasan showed that students were allowed to use smartphones in class but there was no instructional media to assist learning PAI.  This study used the 4D research and development model, which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires and validation sheets. The learning media was validated into two stages by assessing instructional, media, and material aspects. The instruments used have been developed and validated by expert lecturers in Learning Technology. Data analysis techniques used for preliminary analysis, and testing the feasibility of learning media using the average equation and converted into a percentage form.  The research results are as follows: 1) The initial analysis showed a significant need from PAI teachers and students for learning media based on Android applications. The design and format of the learning media focused on Wali Songo Class X SMA material, with the final result in the form of an .apk file. 2) The first stage assessment by instructional experts, media experts, and material experts showed a validity of 76.67% in the "valid" category, 80.00% in the "valid" category, and 73.33% in the "valid" category. In the second stage assessment, the validity results increased to 91.67% with the category "very valid", 98.00% with the category "very valid", and 86.67% with the category "very valid". Thus, e-discovery learning based on Android applications for interactive learning media for PAI on Wali Songo class X material at SMA Negeri 1 Kalasan in the 2023/2024 academic year can be declared feasible and practical to use, and has been disseminated through application stores and registered with the Copyright Registration Letter.
