%X This research aims to explore the practice of implementing the Horja  Godang tradition in Sibuhuan, Barumun District, Padang Lawas Regency, North  Sumatra Province, as well as to analyze the suitability and incompatibility of this  practice and its implications for the values of Islamic Religious Education. The  research method used is qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data was  obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the  research show that the implementation of Horja Godang in Sibuhuan is part of the  implementation of walimatu'ursy which is related to the values of Islamic religious  education. The implementation of Horja Godang is carried out through several  series of events, starting with martahi which consists of dung ungut-ungut, dung  sabagas, dung godang/sahuta, and dung alok-alok. After that, the event continued  with welcoming the mora, followed by various types of tortor such as tortor Suhut  Bolon, tortor raja-raja, tortor namora pule, and tortor naposo bulung. This series  of events then closed with a mangupa procession. The implementation of horja  godang in Sibuhuan has decreased due to a mismatch between cultural traditions  and Islamic religious teachings. However, after the process of internalizing the  values of Islamic religious education in the implementation of Horja Godang,  community participation in the event increased.
