The main issue is the lack of emphasis on hijaiyah letter learning in both family and school environments, coupled with limited effective learning media. Factors such as inadequate family support, low learning interest, and children's limited abilities also contribute to this problem. The proposed solution is to introduce hijaiyah letters early in childhood as a foundational basis. Therefore, the introduction of Smart Wood media aims to simplify children's recognition of hijaiyah letters, potentially addressing these challenges in learning hijaiyah letters effectively. The purpose of this study is to develop a learning media called Smart Wood and to evaluate its practicality, feasibility, and effectiveness in introducing Hijaiyah letters to early childhood. This study uses R&D methods with the ADDIE development model. The respondents were 20 children from class B2 at RA An-Najah I, Karduluk Village, Pragaan District, Sumenep Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. Feasibility testing used a percentage formula (NP), and effectiveness testing used the Wilcoxon Test and one sample group t-test. The research findings indicate: first, Smart Wood media was developed through the ADDIE stages, namely needs analysis, media design including form, theme, size, and characteristics, product development aligned with the design, media implementation in schools, and evaluation of media use by children. Second, Smart Wood media was deemed suitable by media experts with a score of 98 from the first expert and 100 from the second, and by content experts with a score of 96 from both experts, also receiving a score of 100 from teachers.Thirdly, the Smart Wood media has proven to be very practical in teaching hijaiyah letters to early childhood children, with teacher evaluations reaching 100, indicating that this media is very practical because it can help children learn actively, engagingly, and efficiently. Fourth, the media's effectiveness was confirmed through a t-test using the one sample group model, showing a significance level of 0.001<0.05, indicating a significant difference before and after media use, with average pretest and posttest scores of 39.25 and 79.45, respectively.
