One of the areas that carries out sacrificial services using the social gathering system is Gupakwarak Hamlet, Sendangsari, Pajangan, Bantul. The sacrificial social gathering activity in Gupakwarak Hamlet has been running from 2016 until now. Economic factors are the main cause behind the existence of sacrificial social gathering activities in Gupakwarak hamlet. Arisan has become a culture that is developing among the community because in practice it contains an element of mutual assistance. Arisan is a form of muamalah activity because it contains economic values. Arisan as a form of muamalah activity requires that muamalah principles are fulfilled in its activities. Apart from that, you also have to understand what contracts are contained in the sacrificial social gathering activity. This is what then becomes the discussion in this research, in terms of muamalah jurisprudence, how the principles of muamalah are applied in sacrificial arisan activities and whether the members of the arisan know the contracts contained in the Gupakwarak Hamlet sacrificial arisan activities. This research is field research, namely by visiting the research object directly to obtain the required data. This type of research is normative legal research using a qualitative approach. The data analysis method used is descriptive analytic. The theory used to base this research is muamalah fiqh which focuses on the application of muamalah principles and contract theory. In the data collection method the author uses observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of the research show that in practice the implementation of sacrificial social gatherings in Gupakwarak, Sendangsari, Pajangan, Bantul Villages is based on contract theory. Likewise, if we look at the principles of muamalah, the implementation of the sacrificial gathering in Gupakwarak Hamlet is appropriate because it contains elements of ta'awun (muamalah), brings benefits, does not contain elements of fraud and there is no usury in it.
