%X Children who are perpetrators of criminal acts of abuse that result in death while undergoing the legal process in force in Indonesia are known as the Correctional Center (BAPAS) in its handling, which aims to provide children with their rights while undergoing this process. This thesis is entitled Analysis of the Use of Research Reports in Imposing Sanctions on Children Perpetrated in Abuse that Ends in Death in Yogyakarta in 2022. The choice of the title of this thesis was motivated by the differences in sentences recommended for children as perpetrators of criminal acts of abuse that ended in death by the community counselors who made the LITMAS recommendations. Based on the above, this thesis raises the problem formulation: What is the basis for consideration by community advisors in making recommendations for community research reports (LITMAS) on children as perpetrators of abuse that leads to death? and how are research reports used in imposing sanctions on children whose abuse results in death?  This type of research is field research (field research) by using the approach empirical juridical namely research into a problem by looking at and paying attention to applicable legal norms connected to the existing facts of the problem encountered in the research. The data collection technique uses the interview method and then uses the theory of the Juvenile Criminal Justice System and the theory of punishment or the theory of punishment in processing and solving problems in this research.  From the results of research conducted by the author, there are differences in the recommended sentences for children who commit criminal acts of abuse that result in death. LITMAS recommendations made by community counselors must be in accordance with existing indicators, such as whether the child is the main perpetrator or not, whether the child's actions are a repetition of criminal acts and whether the victim is willing to make peace, so that the LITMAS recommendations given to children who are perpetrators of abuse lead to deaths vary. LITMAS's recommendation for children as perpetrators of criminal acts of abuse resulting in death is the minimum possible prison sentence.
