With the presence of Law No. 6 of 2023 concerning the Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation into Law has changed the provisions for determining wages, this is then a problem and needs to be studied further, Islam requires feasibility in wages that can cover the basic needs of life. Wages in the form of material must be able to meet the basic needs of life, such as food and clothing, so as to achieve a decent standard of living. This research uses the library research method in the preparation of this thesis, by reading and studying several books, scientific journal literature, internet websites to obtain a theoretical framework in this research. This research is normative legal research, namely research conducted by examining library materials both primary and secondary data. The primary legal material used is Law No. 6 of 2023 concerning the Stipulation of Government Regulations in Lieu of Law No. 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation into Law, the approach used in this research is a normative juridical approach, namely research that refers to legal norms contained in laws and regulations, as well as norms that apply in society.
