"The presence of Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Stipulation of\r\nGovernment Regulations in Lieu of Law No. 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation\r\ninto Law, brings a new discourse regarding ecological sustainability in Indonesia.\r\nThe reason is that there are fundamental political legal changes regarding\r\nenvironmental protection and management that lead to exploitation rather than\r\nconservation, thus moving away from the principle of justice. This is evidenced by\r\nthe fundamental change regarding environmental licensing regulated in Law No.\r\n32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management to\r\nenvironmental approval regulated in Law No. 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation.\r\nThis is what then becomes a problem and needs to be studied further in this\r\nresearch. By looking at how the politics of law on environmental management and\r\nhow environmental management in Law No. 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation in\r\nthe perspective of siya>sah dustu>riyah.\r\nThis research uses a descriptive-analytical type of library research with a\r\njuridical-normative approach. data collection is done by literature study through\r\nsearching and reviewing legal materials in the form of books, scientific journals,\r\nlegislation documents. Data sources consist of primary data in the form of laws and\r\nregulations, and secondary data obtained from books/journals/other scientific\r\narticles, then analyzed with qualitative analysis.\r\nThe results showed that, first: The politics of environmental management law\r\nin Law No. 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation reflects an authoritarian political\r\nconfiguration due to non-participation and the character of orthodox legal products\r\ndue to fundamental changes regarding environmental management instruments\r\nwhich are a manifestation of environmental justice.
