abstract: This study aims to 1) determine the development of biology modules as teaching
materials based on integration-interconnection on cell material for class XI
SMA/MA, 2) determine the quality of biology modules as teaching materials based
on integration-interconnection on cell material for class XI SMA/MA, 3) determine
student responses to the use of biology modules as teaching materials based on
integration-interconnection on cell material for class XI SMA/MA. The research
conducted is a type of Research and Development using ADDIE model (Analysis,
Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The quality test was
carried out by filling out an instrument containing a quality assessment
questionnaire by 1 media expert, 1 material expert, 5 peer reviewers, 1 biology
teacher, and 15 students of class XI MA Darul Hikmah Tulungagung. The data
obtained were the analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The result of
the integration-interconnection-based biology module research by media expert
received a percentage of 91,66% with a very good category, material experts
93,50% with a very good category, peer reviewers 94,85% with a very good
category, biology teacher 93,23% with a very good category, and student responses
92,77% with a very good category. Base on the results, concluded that the
development of biology modules as teaching materials based on integrationinterconnection
on cell material for class XI SMA/MA students has been
successfully carried out and the result of quality tests and student responses to
biology modules have very good interpretation categories and are feasible to use
as teaching materials for class XI SMA/MA students.
