The type of research used is R\&D with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, pretest and post-test, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out using data collection, data editing, data coding, and data tabulation. The prerequisite tests used are validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test. This study produced three conclusions, namely: 1) the development of Arabic digital teaching materials with a contextual approach is carried out with the ADDIE model through 5 stages, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation; 2) The feasibility of developing Arabic digital teaching materials in this study was assessed by material experts, teachers, and student responses on a small scale with a very feasible category. Then, it was assessed by media experts and an average of 32 students with a feasible category. Then, the listening ability of the experimental class students improved; 3) the effectiveness of developing Arabic digital teaching materials to improve listening skills with a contextual approach was calculated using a paired sample t-test and an independent sample t-test through pretest and post-test results. The results of the paired sample t-test stated that there was an average difference between the pretest score and the post-test score in the experimental class and the control class. Meanwhile, the results of the independent sample t-test stated that there was a significant difference in the post-test scores of the experimental class and the control class.} }
