In the process of growing and developing adolescents, parents and their cultural values often have a great influence on adolescents. The transition phase experienced by adolescents ranging from physical, emotional and psychological changes requires assistance and direction by adults. Approaches to sexuality education in the family play a crucial role in shaping adolescents' understanding and attitudes towards sexuality. This study aims to provide a more basic understanding of the importance of sexuality education and analyze parenting patterns in adolescents who are Javanese and Batak. This study uses a qualitative research method with an ethnomethodological research approach. The theoretical analysis used is developmental theory which includes psychoanalysis theory and socio-cultural cognitive theory, attachment theory or attachment theory, social action theory and social and cultural context analysis theory. Then to complete the information, the researcher conducted interviews with parents, adolescents and the surrounding community. The results of this study show that: First, sexuality education in adolescents is very important in preventing cases of sexual violence, harassment and sexually transmitted diseases. There is still a lack of knowledge from parents in villages and hamlets regarding the understanding of sexuality. Second, the parenting pattern between Javanese and Batak tribes is the same, the difference is the process of how to provide the teaching and the culture that exists in each region affects the intonation and style of speech. Third, the attachment between parents and adolescents is also formed as a result of parental parenting. Parents with democratic parenting in the Javanese and Batak tribes are 80\%, resulting in children being more open and free to tell their parents about the various events experienced. Parents with authoritarian parenting are found in the Batak tribe with a percentage of 10\%, resulting in children being more introverted and not trusting their parents and shaping children's attitudes to often lie and be pressured by parental orders. Parents with permissive parenting in the Javanese and Batak tribes, there are 10\% of children with this parenting style who seem ignorant and more concerned with their own pleasure. Fourth, the similarity of sexuality education in Javanese and Batak families is the value of the meaning of a strong family. The difference in sexuality education in Javanese and Batak families is the language and way of communicating. This research is expected to provide an understanding of sexuality education and how to convey it to adolescents so that it is not abused in their daily lives. It can be the basis for further research and real changes in tackling juvenile delinquency.} }
