%X The problem of lack of learning motivation faced by students of SMP Negeri  1 Dlingo Bantul, especially in grade VII in the 2023/2024 school year, efforts are  needed to increase learning motivation in students through individual counseling.  Where individual counseling given in class VII is prioritized so that students are  able to overcome the problem of lack of learning motivation and know how to  implement individual counseling to increase the learning motivation of grade VII  students of SMP Negeri 1 Dlingo and know what are the supporting and inhibiting  factors for the implementation of individual counseling to increase student learning  motivation.  research is qualitative in nature by taking the background of SMP Negeri 1  Dlingo. The subjects of this study were BK teachers and 2 grade VII students who  attended individual counseling to increase the learning motivation of grade VII  students of SMP Negeri 1 Dlingo Bantul, while the object of this study was the  implementation of individual counseling to increase student learning motivation as  well as supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of counseling.  The results of the research show that in the implementation of individual  counseling to increase the learning motivation of class VII students at SMP Negeri  1 Dlingo Bantul, there are indicators for the implementation of individual  counseling that are fulfilled, namely planning, evaluation, analysis of evaluation  results, follow-up and reporting. Through this research, the supporting and  inhibiting factors for the implementation of individual counseling to increase the  learning motivation of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Dlingo Bantu l are also  known so that they can be used as evaluation material for guidance and counseling  teachers to continue to improve the quality of implementation of guidance and  counseling services.
