Therefore, efforts are needed to mitigate the impact of waste problems in Yogyakarta by utilizing waste as a primary resource in strategies to improve the community's economy. The Butik Daur Ulang Project B emerges with a movement encouraging the community to manage waste, even turning plastic waste into economically valuable products. This study aims to explain the efforts undertaken by Butik Daur Ulang Project B Indonesia in achieving its mission of environmental conservation and enhancing the social and economic conditions of the surrounding community. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to analyze the socio-economic improvements at Butik Daur Ulang Project B in Sleman, Yogyakarta. The subjects of this study consist of informants with information related to Butik Daur Ulang Project B, as well as those who feel the impact of the boutique's presence, such as the boutique owners and managers, the production team, the marketing team, and the community involved in Project B's programs. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings conclude that the reason Butik Daur Ulang Project B chose recycled plastic packaging waste as the primary material for its recycled products is because plastic waste is residual waste that current technologies cannot process, thus Project B focuses on sorting plastic packaging waste. Additionally, it is known that the strategies employed by Butik Daur Ulang Project B to enhance the socio-economic conditions include "learning by doing" strategies, optimizing education, socialization and product promotion through online media, collaborating and partnering with other parties, a waste bank program and waste donation, and recycled product marketing strategies. These strategies have been able to generate significant impacts for the community, including increasing income and new business opportunities, providing environmental benefits, and raising community awareness about the importance of managing waste into economically valuable recycled products PB - UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA KW - Daur Ulang KW - Pengelolaan Sampah KW - Sosial - Ekonomi Masyarakat M1 - skripsi TI - PENINGKATAN SOSIAL DAN EKONOMI OLEH BUTIK DAUR ULANG PROJECT B DI SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA: ANALISIS TERHADAP ALASAN STRATEGI DAN DAMPAK AV - restricted EP - 157 ER -
