Public stigma towards drug abuse victims can have a negative impact on the self esteem of individuals who experience it. This study aims to determine the relationship between public stigma and self esteem in individuals involved in drug abuse. This study uses a quantitative approach of correlation analysis type (relationship) and total sampling technique. The subjects of this study were 40 people who had been involved with drugs from two rehabilitation institutions, namely IPWL Griya Pemulihan Siloam and IPWL Indocharis Foundation. The results showed that there was a relationship between community stigma and self esteem with a Pearson Correlation coefficient of r = -0.630 and p = <0.001. These results state that there is a significant and strong negative correlation between variables. Therefore, it can be concluded that the higher the perceived stigma, the lower the individual's self esteem and vice versa.
