As the main role in running the wheels oforganization, there are several aspects that must be considered to support their performance.Optimal employee performance can only occur if the leader in a company is able to managein a company is able to manage its human resources into reliable human resources. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of transformational leadership and laissez-faire on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This research uses primary data throughdistribution of questionnaires, in this case the respondents used were employees of the local government of North Lampung Regency.The method used in sampling is convenience sampling. The test tool used in this study is SmartPLS by showing that leadership style does not have a significant effect on employee performance. The results of this study indicate that transformational and laissez-faire leadership styles have no positive effect on employee performance, but transformational leadership has a positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. In addition, job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between transformational leadership, laissez-faire leadership, and organizational commitment with employee performance. In contrast, organizational commitment can mediate the relationship between transformational leadership, laissez-faire leadership and employee performance. %Z Pembimbing: Dwi Marlina Wijayanti, S.Pd.,M.Sc
